History
Captain of the Wildcats basketball team at East High, Troy Bolton is the guy that most East High girls are after. After spending New Years at a ski lodge resort, he met Einsteinette Gabriella Montez when they were set up to sing together on kareoke. They exchanged numbers, however not really expecting to see each other again. By pure coincidence in all Disney fashion, Gabriella moved to Troy's hometown and the two began to see the chemistry between them instantly. They thought about entering the school musical together but decided not to enter because nobody knew of their singing encounter at the ski lodge. Anyways, they ended up with a callback for the winter musical after seeing Sharpay and Ryan Evans murder a song written by the show's composer. This ended up being a battle to the death to see who could get the lead roles for the school musical... And obviously, Gabriella and Troy got the parts.
In the summer that followed, Troy and Gabriella - along with the rest of their friends at school - acquired summer jobs at a country club owned by Sharpay and Ryan's parents. Troy went through a complete personality change, blowing off his friends and missing dates due to focusing on his future life. He nearly lost Gabriella for good because she hated his new personality so much. Lots of drama happened, but then Troy came to his senses and they got back together because it wouldn't be a Disney film without happiness and smiles at the end, right? ;D

Personality
Troy radiates confidence, and this is shown through both in matches with his basketball team, and singing with Gabriella. He's pretty much friends with everyone, although this being said, he's not shy to mention if he doesn't like you. As long as you're nice to him, he'll be nice back, but he's not afraid to show his anger if you get on his bad side!

Relationships
Gabriella Montez: The girlfriend. Pretty much the only person Troy really trusts at the moment.

Zexion: He seems to know a lot about this place. He's pretty helpful anyways.

Bowser: WHAT THE HECK IS THAT THING? Troy still isn't used to people not being... human.
